bolo to "problem".. naa bolo to "problem"...

sumtyms we face such situations in lyf, for which we actually dont have anything to say.. all of u must have heard dis phrase " chit bhi meri, pat bhi meri " i.e. i want both sides of coin whenever u flip it... dats the case goin on wid me dese days, where i m the person not getting any side of the coin... its d opposite one's who are demanding both head n tails n even my coin... i mean dats really dramatic period dat i m goin thru for d past few dayzzz...
we have so many problem n serious issues to think about in lyf - e.g.
1.) recession...
2.) job placement and job security
3.) inflation
4.) politics n elections
5.) indian cricket for both mens n womens
6.) terrorism
7.) pakistan
8.) slumdog millionare(issue here is dat y it won so many oscars)
9.) assignments whether its for home or colg or office
10.) exams(et every stage of lyf)..
11.).
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
n d list continues till d time u think about problems...
now IF, amid so many HUGE problems n serious issue thinking, i try to bring out sum humors, den wats d harm in dat...
i may be a bit sarcastic..
i may be a bit taunting...
i may be a bit cynical...
i may sound a bit mocking sumtyms..
i may sound a bit non-sensical at times..
BUT
i m never rude..
i m never lethargic..
i m never loutish..
i m never merciless..
i m never pernicious..

its juz dat to make the envt more playful or to put sum life in it , i TRY to comment on those part of our lives which we r afraid of facing... which is actually true but we always try to hide from it... i know dat i have no ryt to do such things, but then if anyone cant accept certain things, den i guess, he/she doesnt deserve to be called fit for being a "Sociallite"... i may be getting harder on my views, but i m never afraid of goin back on my words...
if i comment on sumthin, its always meant to be taken in a lighter way... i m not the one taking revenge from sum1 by saying all those things.. its juz dat i m trying to bring out humor so dat one can enjoy on wat he/she has been thinking so seriously for da past few dayzz....
but the type of feedback dat i have been receiving for the past few days has been really disappoiting... every1 has actually started to take my words negatively... dat has been really sad for me... i never tried to hurt any1.. the only thing which has been my prime motto is to make sure dat lyf goes on in an entertaining way..

but sumtyms wen i tries to keep quite, ppl around me again start questioning my silence.. dey get disturbed by my few words... dey think that by not saying anythin to them means dat i m commenting on them in a different way... they think that now its another way to gain importance or get attention of oders...
i mean its again very sad situation for me when doin the ryt thing brings negative results...

i m not able to decipher as in wat to do n wat not do????
for dis, one of my fren suggested to take care of the thots of oders before i speak... but then how wud i kno wats goin on in oder persons mind!!!! n even if sumthin is goin on in oder person's mind, den i guess i m not questiong his views.. i m juz trying to comment on the lighter part of lyf which every1 thinks is obnoxious...

i mean i m really confused as in wats goin on.. i guess every1 has accepted the monotony of situation around dem.. dey r happy to c n feel only d things dat r visible to dem.... n moreover dey r really fyting out wid demselves wen dey find demselves happy...

but yeah, dis dilemma still continues to haunt me day n nyt dese days ki - " bolo to problem, naa bolo to problem".....

happy HoLi doston..(dedicated to my skul n rla frens)..

Gulal ki khushbu,
Gujiya ki mithaas..
Holi ke rang,
Dhol ka saath..
Dil ki khushi,
Aur apno ka pyaar..
Mubaarak ho aapko holi ka tyohaar!!!

I m sure all of u must be flooded with these kind of sms’s in ur cells.. even my cell has got variety of holi msgs ranging from the description of holi colors to the wishes to my family. In trivial parts of India, still the holi starts before the usual date and goes on for around 10 days.
Well we also fall into dis category who are enrolled with universities n r still in the study process. We generally start playing holi 3-4 days before with our class mates and college mates. I played wid my my dett ppl as early as 4 days before the actual day which was really well managed.. But that’s only a kind of consolation for ppl lyk me whose actual HOLI DAY is being spent sitting ideal inside the house. And the major reason behind this being frens and family.. yeah.. family who doesn’t play holi anymore after a series of incidents in our family and frens who have moved to different parts of country to settle in their lives.
Till last year, when most of my frens were studying, there was always a chance to play wid dem, moving around on bikes n cars and celebrating the sense of togetherness. But now most of dem have become professional n now dey don’t have the required tym n resources to play.
Starting off with pesko n prashant. Both of them have joined Infosys in mysore and are working even on HOLI day as their company works on “angrez” policies of only celebrating Christmas n ignoring rest all festivals of our country. I had a talk wid pesko who gave me this hilarious piece of info dat dey got a mail regarding holi – “no damage shud be done to any of d office item or any asset of company else dey will be liable to pay a heavy fine”. The irony of this situation is dat the mail didn’t had any kind of wishes being conveyed to their employees. So one can imagine deir work culture. Anyways, pesko has been one of those who always loved to play holi but always in girlish style.. he wud always be worried about his skin, his hairs, his clothes, wat wud his parents think abt him n his frens and etc etc. but still wud be sporting enuff to play wid us. Once we told him dat we wont be cuming to his house to play n he can comfortably take bath but then we juz dropped in at his place wen he was all ready wid neat n tidy make up of his. He was shocked to see 5 of us – sanjay,me,ankit, prashant, mukul. He just went behind his main entry in fear of getting painted by us as we were carrying those baddie color.. still wid courtesy he came out wid glasses of water for us and wat d hell we did wid him is still unforgettable. We all mixed the green wala color in the glass of water n put it on his head. He suddenly became eco-friendly fren of ours – GREEN pesko, CLEAN pesko.. hehehe…. It was wonderful site but even more wonderful was to see the frustration on pesko’s face cuz of our dirty plan. But still he managed to get a smile n den played wid us wholeheartedly…..
Prashant was the one always boasting around his holi preps wid all kind of dirty colors in his pocket n searching for gals to put on.. but luckily never succeeded as we were always wid him.. “humaare hote huey usske paas koi ladki nahi aati thi….” Hehehehehe….
Sanjay was the man wid heart of playing dirtiest holi among us all… he used to play wid all kind of grease, eggs, dirt, mud, purple, green n wat not… but we were fortunate enuff of not being his target of all dis cuz he usually played dis kind of dirt holi only wid his colony frens.. we all luked dangerous but we were the safest ones to play holi wid… even he is in lucknow dese days pursuing some 6 months short term course in lieu of getting a good placement.. hope he succeeds….
Next comes the VARUN.. the Punjabi munda who was also very elegant in playing holi.. usually he was very sensitive to colors but still he wud never disagree to play wid us n always came out wid me to visit the homes of our frens.. he knew dat fun was never inside rooms on holi,.. it was all out in pink, red, green , yellow n d likes…. He is currently in mumbai sitting in an airconditioned TCS building trying to figure out his future…. So the one who used to accompany me to all d places is missing.. so m trying to find d pink n blues inside my room only dis tym….
Ankit singal has always been busy wid family functions.. mostly he spent tym wid family and was seen very rarely wid us on holi.. but still whenever he got tym, he joined us for sure to play wid colors…
All of us used to visit the house of our female skool frens who lived nearby only.. but none of them ever entertained us as we luked horrible in the blend of all dirty colors… but then we always tried n used to roam around juz to c wats goin on in nearby areas.. the mode of transport was always my grey santro as my parents were never afraid of our car getting colorful.. dey always said dat we’ll get it dry cleaned so we mustn’t worry abt it n juz enjoy our holi session.. dis was really sweet!!!!!
Dis was all about my holi day but there wer few more frens wid whom I played holi in last 3 yrs.. my cheapsters gang… yeah.. sarvesh, kunal, manish, naveen, tauseef, saurabh, shobha, dj, sheelam n many more.. benito jaurez marg wud always be flooded wid lots of dirty colors during hole days n RLA walas were the major reason behind dat.. we the ppl from comp sci hons used to play it really hard at south campus. I remember last yr wen we played wid the colors of bottles being carried by “chuski wala” at satya niketan.. it was really messy.. sarvesh is now working in wipro, kunal in DMRC, manish, naveen n tauseef in TCS Chennai.. sheelam is in banagalore n dj is lost sumwhere in her own world… shobha is the new emcee in the town now so she has to be more looks conscious so as to present herself well at different shows… even our seniors were really cooperative in playing bad holi.. it was by puneet, amit, Nikhil, meetali etc who started dis all in front of us n we carried it till our final year.. I hav heard dat dis yr no1 played holi in rla which was quite disappointing but den dis is how lyf goes on… sum plays n sum don’t…..
So dis year it was overall very lonely holi… most of d frens being sitting in ties n trousers at deir workplace working for a colorful holi in future…. I am missing all of dem n wished to revert back into dose days of playful n colorful celebrations wid dem…..

have we indeed been talibanised???

“if any one violates our culture and traditions, we will not hesitate to protest”.
Does this seems to be an open challenge by those who think themselves as the unattended watchdogs of our society???
Wait a sec.. what was the reply to this statement by people actually present on the responsible positions-“ whatever going on is bad and we are just respecting the Centre-State ties”
Now if central government fails to take concrete actions for the horrendous acts being practised on the basis of invalid beliefs of culture & society and the state govt waits for the supreme power to do something,
Then I guess at the deep corner of our hearts we need to believe, that black clouds of talibanisation are hovering over our heads…

Talibanisation is a situation where in all law n order of a state fails with the emergence of extremists group.
The reason that Indian girls can't drink in pubs - or indeed anywhere else, if what they are presuming to drink is even mildly alcoholic in nature - is that such an activity is so subversive of 'Indian culture' that this entity, which has been around for some millennia ever since the Indus Valley civilisation, will immediately curl up its toes and die at the outrage perpetrated against it. 'Indian culture' - as defined by the SRS(sri ram sena), the RHS(rashtriya hindu sena), the Bajrang Dal, the Shiv Sena and other saffronites - is also ill-equipped to withstand such onslaughts as young people sending each other Valentine cards. Or couples holding hands in parks. Or girls wearing 'un-Indian' clothes, like jeans or skirts.

All these things are inimical to Indian culture and the SRS, or one of its sibling organisations, will beat up anyone who dares to transgress these and similar diktats, as happened in the case of the patrons of the Mangalore pub. Beating up people, particularly women, is apparently not at odds with Indian culture, as espoused by hooligans posing as 'Hindu' activists.
To support these saffronites, the government has been at its best doing - “Nothing”.. their weak policy formation, ineffective ways of implementation, n most importantly, searching ways to increasing their vote banks by finding opportunities in these kind of situations. Recently the Yeddyurappa dispensation was using government funds to ‘saffronise’ educational institutions. It was found that the government had released Rs. 5 crore to ABVP-headed committees in all colleges and universities of the State on the pretext of generating anti-terror awareness.
“However, in these meetings, the real message being spread was one of hatred and enmity against minorities,”.’
“It is particularly obnoxious that the entire campaign was being spearheaded by Higher Education Minister Arvind Limbavalli who is himself a former ABVP activist. It is a matter of particular concern that the fight against terror – which is and ought to be a united national effort – is being communalised so blatantly,”.
As for the attack on girls in a pub in Mangalore last month, instead of taking steps to protect women in the area, the Chief Minister had asserted his government’s intent to stamp out the pub culture, “thereby indirectly conveying his support for the actions of the Sri Ram Sene and its leader Pramod Muthalik.”
Its not only the issue of Karnataka being the centre of talibanisation but we have seen its effects in states like Maharashtra and gujrat. Either the government fails to take justified steps or is itself involved to promote these extremist groups in lieu of their support during elections. One day one of the thackrey’s is arrested n put behind the bars, next day Mumbai bandh is declared n third day he is out to again enjoy his illegal powers.
Now if the failure of government at the highest level in our country is the reason for extremists succeeding in saffronising the states n countrymens, den I guess we have no arguments to deny the fact that – “we have indeed been talibanised” or at the max we can say dat we are moving towards being talibanised.......
